What if you lived just outside the most beautiful place on earth? “The Edge of Paradise” is a visual exploration of distance, barriers, and longing, set on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. This series depicts the tension between beauty and isolation by examining literal and metaphorical boundaries – from walled-off structures separating private from public, to the unseen social borders that shape existence in paradise. “The Edge of Paradise” is about those on the periphery, gazing inward, outward, or somewhere in between.
